DUMP CAKE | |
1 pkg. lemon cake mix 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut into thin slices May use other pie filling flavors. Peach, blueberry, etc. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9x2 inch pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan and spread evenly. Dump pie filling and spread into even layer over pineapple. Dump dry cake mix onto the cherry layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Put butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 to 55 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Can put Cool Whip and cherry on top of each piece as it is served. |
