Approximately 4 qt. cucumbers

Pour boiling water over quartered cucumbers and let stand overnight. Drain and pack into jars.

3 3/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
3 c. sugar
4 1/2 tsp. tumeric
3/4 tsp. mustard seed

Boil 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers in jars. Seal and process in hot water bath for 5 minutes.

Makes 6 pints.
