RAISED DOUGHNUTS 
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
1 c. hot water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
Vanilla
6 c. flour

Mix well and cover. Let rise until double in bulk. Roll 1/2 thick on floured surface. Cut out and let rise to double thickness. Fry at 380 degrees. Cook on wire rack. Make frosting from confectioners' sugar, vanilla, and warm water. Dip and drain.
