2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
5 tbsp. cold water

Mix together flour and salt, blend 1/2 cup Crisco into flour until mixture is as fine as meal. Cut in rest of Crisco until particles are the size of navy beans. Add water and stir with fork. Roll on floured board.
