LASAGNE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 lb. pork sausage
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced or 3 tbsp. powdered
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tbsp. sweet basil
2 tsp. salt
1 qt. tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 lb. lasagne noodles
2 lbs. sm. curd cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced very thin or grate

1. Brown meat in hot oil. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer uncovered until thick, about 1 hour.

2. Meanwhile combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients.

3. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.

4. Place 1/2 noodles in 13x9x2 baking dish. Spread 1/2 of cottage cheese mixture over noodles, half Mozzarella cheese and half meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake 375 degrees covered with foil to keep moisture in, one hour or until hot.
