BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. steak, round or sirloin
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour to thicken
1 onion
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 green pepper, chopped

Cut steak into inch squares. Add salt, pepper and flour. Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion and green pepper and saute. Place steak in skillet and brown. Add mushroom soup and 1 can of water. Cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring often.

Put on low heat and cook for 40 minutes. Add sour cream and stir. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
