Supppperrr amazing taste!! Easy to make. Just add some more tbsp of milk as you make it and you'll be fine :) Just wish the color came out more white but that's totally fixable with food coloring!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this recipe!! The BEST frosting I have ever had! Super simple people 8 and above should be able to make this in about 4 - 5 min. I'm 12. This recipe is awesome for me cause I do all the baking at my house.I would definitely recommend this to ALL my fellow bakers.

The best frosting ever and I even mistakenly put garlic salt, salt, and pepper which I keep in a shaker by the stove (just wanted to add a dash of salt) Ha! after scraping that off I added vanilla sugar (had no vanilla) and a little bit of pink. Perfection on chocolate cupcakes!! Will omit garlic salt next time :)

This was a super easy recipe. Of course had to had a little bit of extra of milk but it only make sense when its obviously to stiff. I turned into a lemon frosting instead of vanilla. It was delicious. And made enough for a whole batch of cupcakes. :D

This is a really great recipe. Was a little too sweet for me at first but all I had to do was add a little more milk. Oh and to clarify a bit because I see some people using regular sugar and complaining about how poor it came out. Try powdered sugar. Thats what confectioners sugar means. Love the recipe. Put it on my home made white cake. It was the best ever. Good luck to the rest of you chefs out there!

Just made this! Soo easy and great! I made a cake today and needed frosting. My baby is napping, so it had to be a quick and easy recipe. This definitely was quick and easy. It also tastes really good!

Vanilla frosting is really great and easy to make. Most store bought frosting and some homemade have added fat, like 1 cup of Crisco to the mix. I was brought up with this frosting and it has less fat in it. As far as lumps and adding more milk, add butter, vanilla, milk and powdered sugar as needed for thickness, this way you don't need to add milk.

The recipe was very hard to make. It became a clump and we had to put it in the microwave to fix it. The vanilla flavor was too strong. It was not an easy recipe at all!!

I'm 13 and I made a cake and this icing by myself. I didn't have to add any extra milk to it:) it was so yummy even my bro (the pickiest eater in the world) loved it hope to use it again soon. And if u could not make this that's kinda sad but not gonna judge

Tastes good at first, but it's so clumpy even with extra milk and water, it's also really runny. We dislike it VERY much. Don't use it, it ruined our brother's coming home cake.

Okay, so I read the comments before I made this to see if it'd work. Many say that it didn't work, but some said it did. I tried it and it worked for me. BUT I did thing a little different. I halfway melted the butter, because it's easier to mix with. It didn't ruin it. Then, I only put in half cup of sugar then the milk and vanilla. After that, I kept adding sugar until I got the thickness I wanted. I found by adding the sugar, it was much easer to make it.

I replaced the vanilla in this recipe with about 1 tsp of almond extract and it is to die for! If I only had a batch of almond bars to go with it. I could eat this stuff with a spoon! I found my late night snack!
