FUDGE POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Blend flour mixture into butter mixture alternating with sour cream. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove from pan and cool completely. Yield 1 cake.
