ZEBRA STRIPE COOKIES 
3 c. of Gold Medal flour
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. of powdered sugar
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 1/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 tsp. of salt
1 egg
1/4 c. cocoa

Mix all the ingredients above except the cocoa. When you have a dough formed divide it into 2 halfs and mix the cocoa with 1 half. Pat out each halve into about a 9 inch square, cut 3 strips 3 x 9 inches out of each square.

Layer the strips onto a plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled 1 to 2 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cut the roll of cookie dough in slices 1/4 inch thick. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes (about 36 cookies).
