HELOISE'S EASY FUDGE 
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 can evaporated milk
8 oz. miniature marshmallows
8 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
2 c. nuts (optional)

Bring milk and sugar to boil, and boil exactly 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate chips and butter. Stir until melted. Add nuts. Spread on cookie sheet. Cool and cut.

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE:

Use 2 cups peanut butter instead of chips.
