AVOCADO SALAD 
1 1/2 env. gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
2/3 c. boiling water
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion juice
1 c. mashed avocado
1/3 c. mayonnaise
Bibb lettuce
Tomatoes, peeled and sliced
Sour cream dressing

Soften gelatin in cold water and dissolve it in the boiling water. Add the lemon juice, sugar, salt and onion juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Combine avocado with mayonnaise and fold into gelatin.

Pour into 1-quart ring mold and chill until firm. Unmold - fill center with lettuce and surround mold with lettuce and tomato slices. Serve with sour cream dressing.
