SAND TARTS 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar. Stir well. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Shape into crescent shape. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees until light brown. Roll in powdered sugar.
