GRIT CASSEROLE | |
4 c. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1 c. quick grits 1 1/2 rolls garlic cheese 2 oz. sharp cheddar cheese 1 stick butter 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. milk 1 c. buttered corn flake crumbs Cook grits in boiling water. Remove from heat; add 1 roll garlic cheese and cheddar cheese, also butter. Stir until melted, cool. Mix eggs, sour cream and milk; add to grits. Cheese mixture. Pour into buttered 3 quart loaf pan; top with buttered corn flake crumbs and 1/2 roll grated garlic cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
