ICE CREAM NUT TORTE | |
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened 1 qt. chocolate ice cream, slightly softened 1 qt. strawberry ice cream, slightly softened 1 ready made graham cracker crust 1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds 6 c. macadamia nuts, chopped Crush pie crust with a little melted butter (to make it more pliable). Cover the base of a 9 inch spring-form pan with aluminum foil. Press the pie crust mix to bottom of pan. Then smooth on 1 flavor of ice cream and sprinkle with 1/3 of almonds. Repeat this layering until each flavor of ice cream is used. Put in freezer for 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, remove spring and press macadamia nuts on outside. |
