PARMESAN CROUTONS FOR TWO | |
These croutons are exceptional. SO much better than the flavorless rocks you buy. You will want to make sure there is at least one crouton with every bite of salad you eat - they are that good. 2 slices bread (cubed) 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 tsp. or more Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt parsley 1/4 tsp. basil 1/4tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp celery seed pinch salt Can add shake of Mrs. Dash original Cut bread into cubes. Melt butter... pour over cubes... toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan - toss again. Blend rest of ingredients... sprinkle over cubes. Toss to blend... Cookie sheet: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes til' slightly browned. ... leave 5 minutes longer for more crisp. (Store airtight in refrigerator if any left). Submitted by: Phyllis Chittum |
