6 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt

Cook and peel potatoes. Slice potatoes crosswise and arrange in buttered casserole dish. Combine remaining ingredients and boil about 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes.

Bake in 375°F oven about 30 minutes. Baste potato slices several times.

Serves 6.
