PRETZEL SALAD 
2 c. crushed pretzels
1 to 1 1/4 c. sugar
1 to 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 envelope Dream Whip
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello
2 c. hot pineapple juice
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries and juice

Mix the crushed pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter. Pour into bottom of a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

Mix the Dream Whip according to the package instructions. Add the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Spread over crumbs and chill.

Dissolve the Jello in hot pineapple juice and add frozen strawberries and juice to hot liquid. Let partially gel in refrigerator and then spread over cream cheese layer. (Use a cup and pour carefully rather than "dump" all at once.) Chill. Serves 15.
