RASPBERRY DESSERT 
1 sm. box vanilla wafers
3/4 c. soft butter
3 oz. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry jello
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen raspberries
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
3 tbsp. powdered sugar

Line 13x9 pan with crushed vanilla wafers. Reserve a handful of crumbs for top. Melt together butter and cream cheese. Beat with mixer. Add powdered sugar. Spread mixture over wafers in pan; spread with chopped nuts.

Dissolve raspberry jello in boiling water. Add 2 slightly thawed packages frozen raspberries and stir. Allow to thicken. Spread on top of nut layer.

Whip cream adding 3 tablespoons powdered sugar while beating. Spread over jello layer. Sprinkle remaining vanilla wafer crumbs on top. Refrigerate at least overnight so it will firm up. Otherwise, freeze and allow to partially thaw before serving.
