FRENCH LOAF CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla or
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix soft butter and sugar until light. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk alternately with flour and baking powder; mix well. Add vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
