SWEET & SOUR POT ROAST 
4 lbs. chuck or pot roast
2 onions, thinly sliced
6 whole cloves
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. fat
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. honey
1/4 tsp. pepper

Soften onions over medium heat in hot fat. Use Dutch oven or heavy skillet with tight fitting lid. Brown meat slightly on all sides. Add salt, pepper and cloves. Pour honey, sugar and lemon juice ove meat. Cover and simmer slowly over low heat or in oven at 300 degrees for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender. Slice meat thinly before serving. Pour sweet and sour gravy over meat slices and rice or noodles.
