MOIST CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS 
2/3 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter over medium heat. Beat in brown sugar. Cool slightly. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with beaten eggs to brown sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be very stiff. Bake in greased and floured 9"x13" pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
