My grandma made these as well. Shes been gone now a number of years. She passed at 93 and said this was her mothers recipe. We also requested every chance we could. I learned from watching but this recipe is spot on and simple. I however add some parsley flakes and garlic powder. The kids and grandkids love them!

I have not yet rated because I have not prepared yet. I have been searching for years for the bohemian dumplings made with farina and mashed potatoes. Thank you so much! My grandmother always made these for our birthdays -- we requested them! I've asked for the recipe made made with farina/ potatoes and was told there was no such recipe. I knew ingredients just not quantities. Again a big THANK YOU!!! And we always had with pork roast and sauerkraut!

I bake them with a little butter on the top for 25 minutes. They don't fall apart that way. Freeze well too.

Great food my grandmother made these my mother made these and I made them. I am now 80 yrs old. So they have come along way. Farina I never tried should be ok, and we mashed the potato not riced.
