GOLF BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dates, chopped
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Beat egg in separate bowl. Melt 3/4 stick butter; add sugar, egg and dates. Cook until thick for about 10 minutes; cool. Add Rice Krispies and nuts. Roll into balls; then roll in powdered sugar.
