BARBECUE RIBS 
3 lb. pork spareribs
1 c. water
2 tsp. salt

SAUCE:

2 1/2 tbsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. onions, chopped finely
1 1/2 c. pure maple syrup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper

Mix salt and water together for salt-water basting. In another bowl, add remaining ingredients, except ribs. Sauce for ribs.

Place ribs on grill, about 5 to 7 inches above low temperature. Cook ribs about 45 minutes, turning and brushing with salt-water mixture. Continue cooking 15 minutes or until done, turning and brushing with maple syrup sauce.
