RAISIN OATMEAL MUFFINS 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. raisins
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk

Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture looks like cornmeal. Stir in oats and raisins. Add eggs and milk, stirring just to moisten. Fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full.

These are not too sweet.

Bake at 425°F for 18 to 20 minutes.
