DILL PICKLES 
Dill pickles to fill 6 qt jars.
5 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1/2 tsp. powdered alum

Boil water, vinegar, salt and alum together for 5 minutes. Pour over dill pickles. May add dill seed, dill weed or clove of garlic before processing in pressure cooker.
