NUT CRUNCH | |
2 c. Bisquick baking mix 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. boiling water 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet and cut into 1/4 inch pieces. Cool completely. Store in airtight container. Makes about 8 cups of crunch. Can be frozen or refrigerated up to 3 weeks. High altitude directions (3500 to 6500 feet) : No adjustments are necessary. |
