PUREED PEAS 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 slices bacon, chopped
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Put peas and bacon in small saucepan with 1/3 cup water. Cover and cook until peas are tender; drain. Put the peas with the bacon in food processor; add butter and cream, whirl until smooth. Put peas through a fine mesh sieve to remove pea skins. Add salt and pepper to taste. Reheat in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until hot. Serve.
