JAM DANDY MUFFINS | |
1 2/3 c. flour, sifted 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/3 c. butter 3/4 c. milk 1 egg Any flavor jam Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Cut in shortening. Add milk and egg; mix until blended. Grease muffin tin. Spoon into muffin tin (1/3 full). Put 1 teaspoon of jam in middle; add batter on top. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. |
