SPICED SHRIMP 
1-2 lb. shrimp
1 c. cider vinegar
1 c. old beer or wine (you may also use water)
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp. pickling spice
1 tbsp. dried crushed red pepper flakes
2-3 tbsp. crab seasoning (Old Bay, J.O., Wye River or Phillips)

Combine, bring to a boil. Add shrimp, boil until done. Drain liquid, toss shrimp and spices with 1/2 cup Old Bay (other brands may be more salty). Let set for a few minutes, toss again before serving, good with crusty French bread.
