BARBEQUED SPARE RIBS 
3-4 lb. ribs, cut into pieces
1 lemon
1 lg. onion
1 c. ketchup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 c. water

Place ribs in shallow pan, meat side up. On each piece place a thin slice of unpeeled lemon and a thin slice of onion. Roast in hot oven 450 degrees for 30 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven 350 degrees about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water. Serves 3-4 people.
