2 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/3 c. Karo syrup
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil. Turn heat very low and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add rest of the ingredients except nuts. Stir until creamy and chocolate is melted. Add nuts. Pour into buttered 8 x 8 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into 2 inch squares.
