SHORTBREAD - USING FOOD
PROCESSOR
 
1 lb. butter
1 c. fine white sugar
2 c. flour
2 more c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cream butter, cut in small chunks and add gradually to food processor. Add sugar. Add 2 cups flour and mix well. Add 2 more cups flour and cornstarch and mix well. Press into ungreased 13x15 inch pan. Cook in 325 degree oven for 30- 40 minutes. Turn every 15 minutes, half turn.

When cooked, prick with fork, and cut into squares when still warm. Cool, then remove from pan to wire rack. This recipe may be halved.
