PECAN TARTS 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. flour

Mix cheese, butter well. Add flour as to pie crust. Roll into 1 inch balls and flatten with fingers and drop into small tart pans. Press up around the edges.

FILLING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg, if small use 2
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix butter with sugar and add other ingredients. Fill tart shells and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
