BEST POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (2 lb.) bag Ore-Ida frozen hash browns
2 sticks butter, melted separately
1 c. chopped onion or 1/4 c. onion flakes
8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Place frozen potatoes in large bowl. Pour melted butter over (1 stick). Add cheese and onions. Mix liquids with seasonings. Add to potato mixture and blend together. Put into large buttered casserole. Sprinkle corn flakes over top (mixed with 1 stick melted butter). Bake 350 degrees, 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours. Can be made ahead and refrigerated.

This is my granddaughters favorite. I do not use as much butter and I also use Velveeta shredded cheese mixed with a little cheddar. I take this dish to every bbq!!
