PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH APPLE
FRITTERS
 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Beat all ingredients together, core and peel good cooking apples. Slice, dip slices into batter. Fry in oil until golden. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
