REFRIGERATOR BREAD AND BUTTER
PICKLES
 
7 c. sliced (thin) cucumbers
1 c. red and green peppers, thin
1 c. onions, sliced thin
1 tbsp. salt

Mix all above and place in refrigerator for one hour. Cover with ice cubes. Bring to boil and cool: 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed 2 c. sugar

After one hour squeeze water from mixture cover with liquid and mix well. Place in refrigerator. Keeps long time.
