CHOCOLATE ZUCCHINI COOKIES 
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 cups finely shredded zucchini
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and cloves; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the zucchini, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 3-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Makes 8 dozen.
