CRANBERRY CAKE | |
3 tbsp. butter 1 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 c. milk 3 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 3 c. fresh cranberries, cut in half Mix all together and fold in cranberries. Spread in greased and floured 9 x 9 inch pan. (Batter will be stiff.) Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. SAUCE: 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. cream 1 tbsp. vinegar Heat over high heat until bubbly. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. (Can lower heat and keep cooking.) The longer it cooks the better it tastes. |
