DOG BISCUITS
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. dry skim milk
1/3 c. quick cooking oats
2 tbsp. wheat germ
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 lg. egg, beaten
2 beef or chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. milk

Combine all-purpose and whole wheat flours, milk powder, oats, wheat germ, oil, egg, bouillon and milk in a food processor or mixing bowl and process to mix. Form into a ball and knead for 1 minute.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with a biscuit butter. Place 6 biscuits on a 9 to 20 inch plate. Cook on 50 percent power in microwave oven for 6-9 minutes, or until firm. Roll out scraps and continue making biscuits until all dough is used. Cool on wire rack and store in airtight container. Makes about 18 biscuits or 60 nuggets.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
