GLAZE FOR CHEESECAKE 
1 qt. strawberries
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cold water
Dash salt
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. butter
Red food coloring

Use food mill to crush 1 cup of strawberries. Add sugar, water, salt and cornstarch. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter and 1 to 2 drops of food coloring. Cool slightly. Arrange remaining berries on cheesecake. Spoon glaze over surface. Chill.
