1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. peanut butter (if desired)

Put butter, milk, cocoa and sugar in a pot. Boil 2 minutes. Take off heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter; mix. Add oatmeal; mix. Spoon cookies onto waxed paper. Let cool.
