BUTTER PECAN BARS 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar (divided)
1 c. butter (divided)
1 1/2 c. pecan pieces
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

In large bowl beat flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup butter for 2 to 3 minutes or until particles are fine. Pat firmly into greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle with pecan pieces and press lightly.

In 1 quart saucepan over medium heat, heat remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2/3 cup butter until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly, drizzle evenly over pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until caramel layer is bubbly.

Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate morsels. Let stand 2 minutes. Using a knife, lightly swirl melted morsels into caramel. Cool; cut into bars.
