VIVIAN'S BUTTER PECAN TURTLE
BARS
 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk chocolate morsels

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar. Add flour. Press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans.

Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in small pan. Boil 30 seconds. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes until bubbly. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate morsels. Let stand 3 minutes. Cut into squares. Yield: 4 dozen.
