SPECIAL K BARS 
6 c. Special K cereal or Rice Krispies
1 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter

FROSTING:

1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips

Mix sugar and syrup together in saucepan. Bring to rolling boil (do not boil over). Add peanut butter and stir thoroughly. Add cereal and stir. Press firmly in 9x13 inch greased cake pan. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in microwave. Stir until smooth, then spread over bars. Let set until frosting is firm.

Bars can be served with or without frosting.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
