1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup

Mix in saucepan (large enough to hold all ingredients). Cook until beads form. Remove from heat and add:

3/4 c. peanut butter
4 c. Special K cereal

Mix and pat in greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Mix and melt:

6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter

Spread on top of bars.
