HOT BEEF DIP 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 pt. sour cream
1 lg. jar dried beef, cut in sm. pieces
1 green pepper, chopped
4-6 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 sm. pkg. slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Combine all ingredients and pour into baking dish into which you have put about 1/2 stick of butter, sliced. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes (butter will rise to the top). Stir. Serve hot, preferably in a chafing dish and sprinkled with a few of the almonds. Great dip for chips, etc.
