MOM'S STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked and cooled
1 qt. strawberries
7/8 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. juice, from berries
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. gelatin
2 tbsp. cold water

Dissolve gelatin in cold eater and set aside. Wash, hull and crush strawberries, draining the juice and saving it.

Blend sugar, corn starch (together they equal 1 cup) juice and 1/4 cup water. Boil until clear.

Add lemon juice, softened gelatin. Cool and add crushed berries. Chill until slightly thickened. Spread in baked shell (could put a layer of bananas sliced into between layers of filling). Chill.
