SUMMER CUCUMBERS | |
4 med. cucumbers 3 med. yellow onions 1 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil (vegetable) 2 tsp. salt Peel and slice cucumbers and onions. In a separate bowl mix the apple cider vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil and salt. Layer a serving bowl with a layer of cucumbers, then a layer of onions. Continue layering until all cucumbers and onions are used. Once this is complete, pour the liquid mixture over vegetables and refrigerate for 2 hours prior to serving. |
