GERMAN CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil, heated in skillet
1 sm. can cream style corn
1 sm. carton sour cream
2 tbsp. jalapeno pepper (chopped)
1 tsp. sugar

Mix all in large bowl. Cook in large iron skillet or pan. Place 3 strips bacon on top. Bake 450 degrees 30 minutes.

P. S. 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese may be added.
